The Central Michigan Chippewas are 6-1 SU and ATS over their last seven games with an average margin of victory of 16.6 points per game. The Chippewas look to continue their impressive run in the MAC championship game against the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks.

Miami News & Notes
After kicking off the 2019 season with a 2-4 SU and ATS record that included an 0-4 SU record on the road, the RedHawks didn’t seem to be carrying much momentum into the second half of their season. But in a surprising turn of events, Miami reeled off three straight outright upsets in conference play, defeating Northern Illinois at home and then going on the road to earn wins at Kent State and Ohio.
The RedHawks cooled off at the end of November, narrowly defeating Akron 20-17 at home as 28-point favorites and then losing 41-27 at Ball State as 3-point underdogs. They enter the MAC championship with a 7-5 SU and 6-6 ATS record on the year. Miami is 1-4 SU in its last five games played in the month of December.
Central Michigan News & Notes
Senior Quinten Dormady did a great job stepping into the starting quarterback role this season with 1,916 passing yards, 13 touchdown passes and only five interceptions in eight games of action. But the real stars of this Chippewas offense have been running backs Jonathan Ward and Kobe Lewis, who have combined for 2,003 rushing yards and 26 rushing touchdowns in 2019.
Central Michigan opened the season with a 2-3 SU and 3-1-1 ATS record but has finished the regular season on a 6-1 SU and ATS tear. The Chippewas have averaged 40.6 points per game over their last seven games and 47.3 points per game over their current 3-0 SU and ATS run. What an incredible turnaround from last season’s 1-11 SU and 5-7 ATS campaign.
Betting Pick: Chippewas -6.5
Miami has averaged only 24.6 points per game on offense this season. Central Michigan’s red-hot offense should be too much for the RedHawks to handle, and they aren’t going to be able to keep up on offense.
