Ohio State Odds: Carlos Hyde news

Ohio State began the week as the clear-cut favorite in the Big Ten and the second choice to win the BCS National Championship behind only Alabama. However, that was before top RB Carlos Hyde was reportedly dismissed from the team and starting CB Bradley Roby was arrested.
Hyde was named as a person of interest in an incident involving a weekend assault on a woman at a Columbus dance club. He was suspended from all football activities after a Monday team meeting, according to multiple media reports.
Hyde emerged as a star for the Buckeyes late last season, rushing for more than 800 yards in the last eight games.
Roby was arrested early Sunday morning in Bloomington, Ind., and is facing battery charges. His status with the Buckeyes remains undecided. He’s expected to be a high future NFL draft pick and is the most talented player on the Ohio State defense.
Ohio State was listed at 6/1 to win the national championship at Sportsbook, but dropped back to 7/1 after news of Hyde’s dismissal and Roby’s arrest broke Monday.
Sportsbook has the Buckeyes at -110 to win the Big Ten title and had their season win total set at 10.5.
