Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly may be on his way out in the offseason.

Who Coaches USC, South Carolina Next?

USC will move forward for the remainder of the season with Clay Helton as the interim head coach before hitting the coaching search in earnest in the offseason. The Trojans fired former coach Steve Sarkasian after he developed a alcohol dependency as he is going through some personal issues.

Though not a household name, Kyle Whittingham is currently a +350 favorite to become the next full-time head coach for USC according to Sportsbook. Whittingham has been the coach of Utah since 2004 seeing the Utes to a 90-43 record, which includes Sportsbook this season 5-0.

The most intriguing name on the list though is Chip Kelly who is just behind Whittingham at +600. Though Kelly is currently the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, there has been speculation that college teams will come a-knocking in the offseason and dump a truck load of money at his doorstep.

Where Does South Carolina Go Now?

With legendary coach Steve Spurrier resigning from the Gamecocks suddenly, South Carolina will set their sights to the offseason to find a new coach for their team for the first time since 2005.

Sportsbook has Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart as a +250 favorite to take the reigns in Columbia. Smart will not be getting head coaching duties for the Tide unless Nick Saban retires and the 39-year-old coach has more than enough credentials to be highly sought after the season.
