Fresno State was the preseason favorite to win the Mountain West, and so far the Bulldogs have lived up to those expectations, winning their first five games and climbing to No. 17 in the polls.

FSU will shoot for a 6-0 start when it hosts 4-2 UNLV Saturday night (10 pm ET).

The Bulldogs are averaging 47 points per game, but are also only 1-4 ATS, thanks to three close victories in which they couldn't cover the number.

UNLV, meanwhile, after dropping its first two games of the season, has won four in a row.

As of early this week Fresno State was favored by 22 points over the Rebels in this renewal of an old WAC rivalry.

This season the Bulldogs are 5-0 overall and 1-4 ATS against the number, while the Rebels are 4-2 and 3-3 ATS. As for the totals, Fresno State is 4-1 on the OU, and UNLV is 4-1-1.
