    The Trojans have looked like completely different teams at home and away from home this season. At the Coliseum, USC is 3-0 SU and 2-1 ATS with impressive conference wins of 45-20 against the Stanford Cardinal and 30-23 against the Utah Utes. On the road, the Trojans are 0-2 SU and ATS with losses to the BYU Cougars and Washington Huskies.

    Quarterbacks Kedon Slovis and Matt Fink have combined to throw three touchdown passes and six interceptions on the road compared to five touchdowns and one interception in their last two home games. Slovis returned to practice last week in a non-contact role and is currently listed as questionable heading into this road showdown against Notre Dame. USC is 7-2 SU in its last nine road games after losing its previous two road games.

    While they were unable to come away with the win, the Fighting Irish kept their playoff hopes alive with a hard-fought 23-17 loss on the road to the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 4. Since then, Notre Dame has defeated the Virginia Cavaliers 35-20 and the Bowling Green Falcons 52-0, improving to 4-1 SU and ATS in the process.

    Ian Book is leading the way on offense with 1,254 passing yards, 13 passing touchdowns and only two interceptions. Book has also rushed for 139 yards and two scores this season.
