Wildcats open as underdog vs Bruins

UCLA BruinsArizona Wildcats

With two losses each in conference play the Arizona Wildcats and UCLA Bruins can't afford another defeat if they hope to represent the South Division in the Pac-12 championship game.

So one team will probably fall out of contention when the 6-2 Bruins and 6-2 Wildcats hook up in Tuscon Saturday night.

Both teams, at 3-2 in conference play, trail first-place Arizona State by a game in the South.

Arizona had won five in a row in this series, but last year UCLA clobbered the 'Cats 66-10 at the Rose Bowl.

As of early this week the Bruins were favored by one point over Arizona.

They battle the Bruins, currently with a 6-2 mark (5-3 ATS). The over under records, important for totals bettors, are 3-5 for the Wildcats and 3-5 for the Bruins.
