The Northwestern Wildcats had visions of contending for a spot in the Big Ten championship game this season. But after four weeks of conference play the 'Cats sill haven't won a conference game.

Coach Fitzgerald's troops go looking for that first conference victory when they visit Lincoln to take on the 5-2 Nebraska Cornhuskers this Saturday (3:30 pm ET, Big Ten Network).

Northwestern, 4-4 overall, has lost four games in a row, and six in a row ATS, after losing in overtime at Iowa last Saturday. Nebraska, meanwhile, just lost at Minnesota, and sits at 2-1 in conference play.

As of early this week the Cornhuskers were favored by seven points over the Wildcats. Northwestern is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 games on the road, while the Huskers own a solid ATS streak as a home team.

“A solid road streak runs head-on into a solid home streak in this battle of teams with ‘N’ on their helmets. But the Huskers will win 42-30 if our computer is right in Week 10,” said Jack Randall.

The Cornhuskers sit at 5-2 (4-3 ATS) on the season; in comparison, the Wildcats are currently 4-4 (2-6 ATS). Looking to wager on the totals? Nebraska is 4-3 OU, and Northwestern is 3-5 OU.
