Ravens vs Patriots Sportsbook Odds

The Ravens opened as 3-point favorites and the line has seen little to no movement up to this point. After Baltimore scored 38 points against the Dolphins only to be upended by a Tua Tagovailoa comeback, backers are in no position to fade this Baltimore offense. However, while he does not have the most talented team on his sideline, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has continued to win football games and should not be overlooked.

Ravens Look To Bounce Back After Heartbreaking Loss In Home Opener

Up by as many as 21 points against the Dolphins last Sunday, the Ravens squandered a golden opportunity to improve to 2-0 and take hold of the AFC North. Instead, they are left fighting for position in their division early in the 2022 season.

Lamar Jackson was terrific in Week 2, passing for 318 yards and three touchdowns and running for an additional 119 yards and a score. His longest scamper of the day went for 79 yards. Rashod Bateman hauled in four catches for 108 yards and a touchdown.

But the Ravens will have to focus on their defense in Week 3. Clearly susceptible to play-action movement and speed on the outside, if they are unable to figure out their woes in the secondary, Mac Jones and the Patriots could have a field day much like the Dolphins did, although New England lacks similar firepower.

Patriots Take On Another AFC North Team With Eyes To Get To 2-1

In a slugfest against Pittsburgh, the Patriots captured their first victory of the season, outlasting the Steelers 17-14. Mac Jones managed the game effectively, going 21-for-35 through the air for 252 yards and a touchdown. Nelson Agholor was on the receiving end of six Jones passes, including the major, as he gained 110 yards vs a stingy Steelers secondary.

After holding the Steelers to only 14 points, the Patriots defense will need to be brilliant once again. However, it will be tasked this time with slowing down Lamar Jackson and the high-powered Baltimore offense rather than Mitch Trubisky, who threw for only 168 yards through the air. The defense will have to hold firm and Jones will have to engineer some long drives if the Patriots are to have success.

Ravens: Keys To Victory

The Ravens must improve their secondary play if they are to improve to 2-1. If they’re able to slow down New England’s outside receivers, the Ravens should be able to notch a road victory as 3-point favorites.

Patriots: Keys To Victory

Mac Jones must effectively manage this game and keep Lamar Jackson off the field. If he can do that, the score should fall somewhere in the mid-20s, which is the bread and butter for this New England side and gives them a chance to win outright.
