NFL Playoff Betting Handles: AFC & NFC Championships

In that contest, bettors like the Commanders to win SU and cover +6.0, with 63% of the handle on that bet. Interestingly, despite the action, the Eagles' spread grew from 5.0 points to 6.0 points, suggesting sharp bettors have action on Philly.

Nearly Even Handle Split at BetMGM; KC Has Advantage

BetMGM will cash out regardless of the result in the AFC Championship. Our NFL expert Mitch Bannon strongly suggests betting on the Chiefs to join in that prosperity. As Mitch points out, over the last five years, the Chiefs are 15-2 in the playoffs, and none of those wins were closer than three points.

Last week, the playoff version of the Chiefs showed up. Steve Spagnuolo's defense held the Texans, who averaged 22 points per game, to just 14. Travis Kelce had a season-high 117 yards, and Kansas City controlled the game from start to finish.

In the last five years, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs have faced the Bills three times in the playoffs and won each one, covering -1.5 every time. Playoff Chiefs are a different beast.

Rookie quarterback Daniels has been sensational, leading Washington's offense to score on 11 of 16 drives during the playoffs while showing poise with 1,522 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 422 rushing yards during a seven-game win streak dating into the regular season. However, Washington's Achilles heel remains a porous rushing defense, which Saquon Barkley has already exploited for 296 yards and four touchdowns this season.
