Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders reignite their NFC East feud with Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game. Washington is in the championship game for the first time in 33 years, while the Eagles look to make their third Super Bowl trip in seven years with a victory.

Daniels may look like Nelly with the band-aid on his face, but he's playing like Quavo. "Do a quarterback sneak on fourth and three", seems like it was Dan Quinn and Kliff Kingsbury's philosophy in the Commanders stunning upset of the Detroit Lions.

The former LSU star is playing at a never-before-seen level from a rookie quarterback in these playoffs, displaying outstanding command as the string-puller of Washington's elite offense. In fact, Washington has scored on 11-of-16 drives, while punting only once, and turning the ball over on downs three times. Quinn's aggressive nature has been a huge positive for his team, as the Commanders converted three of four fourth downs in Detroit, and led the NFL in conversion percentage in the regular season.
Most importantly, Daniels looks anything but a rookie under center, passing for 1,522 yards and 17 touchdowns while adding 422 yards and a score on the ground during his team's seven-game winning streak.
That being said, shutting down Saquon Barkley and the Eagles in the NFC Championship game is easier said that done. The Commanders rushing defense continues to be their Achilles heel. Washington owned the NFL's third-worst rushing defense in the regular season, allowing 137 yards per game. That shone through on Sunday, as Jahmyr Gibbs sliced and diced through Washington's defense to the tune of 105 yards and a touchdown. Plus, Jameson Williams took a reverse 61 yards - untouched - for a score.
Don't forget, Saquon rushed for an insane 296 yards and four touchdowns on a wild 6.57 yards per carry in two matchups with the Commanders this season. I'm betting Barkley continues his production, after the superstar back torched the Rams for 205 yards and two touchdowns in the Divisional Round.
Literally everything about this video gives me chills…

The crowd pop when Saquon breaks the tackle, him realizing he’s going to score & hitting his helmet, the celly…
Saquon Barkley is a Philadelphia sports legend in his first season here. Amazing.

It's also important to note, the Eagles walloped the Commanders in Week 11. Moreover, Philadelphia led by two scores in Week 16 before Jalen Hurts was knocked out of the contest. Washington needed some brutal play from Kenny Pickett and two late turnovers to come back and win that contest.
Yes, Hurts is banged up again. However, the Eagles have too much talent on the offensive and defensive lines. With both starting center Tyler Biadasz and right guard Samuel Cosmi nursing injuries for Washington, expect to see Jalen Carter and the defensive line continue to feast. Far too many bettors will be banking on the Week 16 box score in this contest, but Philly played their sloppiest contest of the year, and are unlikely to make those same mistakes. Lay the points and bet on the Philadelphia Eagles to book their ticket to Super Bowl 59.

Zach Ertz OVER 3.5 receptions -110
Former Eagle Zach Ertz has become a huge part of the Commanders passing attack, and you can bet he'll want to make his mark against his former club. Ertz has seen at least four targets in four straight games, and hauled in five plus receptions in three of his last four. He's grabbed 18 receptions in that time period and is set for another big outing against an Eagles defense that could be without standout linebacker Nakobe Dean.
Don't forget Ertz had a war of words with Eagles' head coach Nick Sirianni earlier this season, and the bad blood likely remains. Bet on Ertz to have another big game in the NFC Championship.
