Cooper Rush and the Dallas Cowboys go to war against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17 of the NFL season. Dallas is coming off a rousing victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. While the Eagles festive season was rocked by a Jalen Hurts injury and a last minute loss in Washington. Can Philadelphia recover in Week 17?

Cowboys vs Eagles Week 17 Picks
Cowboys +10 Alternate Spread -120
When they woke up on Sunday morning, the Philadelphia Eagles were soaring high. Winners of 10 straight games, the Eagles simply had to dispatch the divisional rival Commanders to lock up the NFC East title and stake their claim for the NFC's top seed. But, Jayden Daniels wasn't having that.
Now, Philadelphia enters Week 17 with major questions. Will Jalen Hurts clear concussion protocol in time to play in this game? Can backup Kenny Pickett even play after injuring his ribs late in the loss, and how effective will he be? Is former sixth-round pick Tanner McKee ready to go if neither can play?
The latest 9.5-point spread indicates the sportsbooks believe Hurts will recover in time. However, I was impressed by the play of Cooper Rush against the Buccaneers. The longtime Cowboys backup has thrown for over 500 yards and four touchdowns in the last two weeks.
Additionally, the Cowboys defense has been resurrected and ranks eighth in EPA per play allowed over the last three weeks. On top of that, Mike McCarthy's men are playing hard for their coach. They're 5-2 SU and 4-3 ATS away from home this season. I like Dallas to cover in Week 17.
Cowboys vs Eagles Week 17 Props
Cooper Rush UNDER 41.5 First Quarter Passing Yards
According to our friends at Outlier, Cooper Rush has failed to exceed 41.5 first quarter passing yards in seven of his last nine games versus top-10 defenses for passing yards allowed. Few passers have managed to exploit the elite Eagles passing defense. Philadelphia has surrendered just 203.5 passing yards per game over the past four weeks. Fade Rush against Vic Fangio's defense.
