Cutler Has Awful History vs Packers

Chicago Bears Jay Cutler

Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has been maligned for many reasons in his career. Some NFL pundits have criticized him for being lackadaisical during games, others have questioned his leadership abilities while his penchant for committing costly turnovers has plagued him since entering the league with the Denver Broncos in 2006.

Some of those statements are debatable, and to be frank, a lot of the criticism surrounding Cutler has been downright unfair. But one thing cannot be argued: the Green Bay Packers absolutely own the Vanderbilt product.

Cutler owns a lifetime 1-12 record against the Packers and has not beaten the green and gold since 2010. Twelve of those thirteen games have come while he was suited up as a Bear, while his first meeting with Green Bay resulted in a 19-13 loss as a member of the Broncos in 2007.

The 32-year-old has thrown 15 touchdowns compared to a bloated 22 interceptions during those games. Cutler also boasts a less than impressive 67.2 career quarterback rating to go along with a 56.4 completion percentage.

So, will Cutler ever be able to exorcise his demons against the Packers? He’ll have an opportunity to do just that on Thanksgiving Day when the Monsters of the Midway travel to the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field for yet another clash between the storied NFC North rivals.

Here’s a breakdown of Cutler’s game-by-game career stats against the Packers. Look away, Bears fans.
