About a month after he won the 2016 election, Donald Trump attended the Army-Navy football game. It was his first sporting event as president-elect and the first of many following his inauguration. Over the last three years, President Trump has attended the interservice rivalry game annually, along with UFC mixed martial arts fights, MLB playoffs and College Football Playoff championships. So, it’s no surprise that Sportsbooks have set odds on how the president engages and interacts with Super Bowl 54.
One fun fact that you may not know is that no sitting president has ever attended the NFL’s Super Bowl. At -390, or 79.59 percent implied probability, odds are that Trump does NOT attend the 49ers-Chiefs championship tilt on February 2.

How Many Times Will Donald Trump Tweet?
As we know, the president has a slight addiction to Twitter. On February 3, 2019, the day of Super Bowl 53, Trump tweeted just three times. Two of them had to do with building the southern border wall and the other was about Tiger Woods. He only tweeted twice on the day of Super Bowl 52, with one of them congratulating the Philadelphia Eagles on their upset win over the Patriots.
This year, things are a little different. Namely, it’s an election year and Trump’s impeachment trial will likely leak on into the first full week of February. So, Sportsbooks have set a higher-than-usual TOTAL TWEETS threshold for February 2, 2020.

Trump’s Super Bowl Commercial Props
Democratic presidential candidate and former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg is reportedly willing to spend billions of his own money to unseat President Trump in the 2020 election. Both Bloomberg and Trump have shelled out $10 million for 60-second commercial spots during Super Bowl 54. It’s been reported that FOX will air the two political ads during breaks that feature network show promos and will not be surrounded by other product brands.

Whether or not Trump thanks the television network FOX depends on which way the wind blows that day. Odds he would thank FOX would have been stronger on January 27 because his feelings for the network changed the next day.
Really pathetic how @FoxNews is trying to be so politically correct by loading the airwaves with Democrats like Chris Van Hollen, the no name Senator from Maryland. He has been on forever playing up the Impeachment Hoax. Dems wouldn’t even give Fox their low ratings debates....

Prior to the Super Bowl, FOX News Channel host Sean Hannity will interview President Trump. He’ll be able to share all his Super Bowl puns here, while I think the message and focus of his commercial will feature a “greatest hits” of his accomplishments through the first three years of his first term.

Trump’s approval rating is according to the website FiveThirtyEight.com and as of January 29, 2020, was at 43 percent. So, for example, if the Super Bowl was yesterday and Patrick Mahomes’ longest pass was 44 yards, the “longest reception” prop would hit at -200.

President Trump recently set a record.
Trump breaks his own Twitter record with 132 tweets or retweets as of 4:45 p.m., the most of any single day of his presidency, as he defended himself and lashed out at the House managers.

He must attend the game and stand on the field during the anthem. Although no sitting president has attended the Super Bowl in the past, Trump has been lauded by his base for bucking the norm. If he attends, he’ll likely embrace that spotlight.
