It's only Week 4, but this Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game is giving off vibes of a very important battle in the NFC. Both teams have their sights set on the playoffs and both teams are 2-1 and tied for the lead in their division.
The Eagles are coming off an impressive 15-12 win vs. the Saints, while the Buccaneers just wrapped up a really disappointing 26-7 loss vs. the Broncos.

Eagles vs Buccaneers Picks Week 4
Buccaneers moneyline +120
Yes, Saquon Barkley has been great for the Eagles and perhaps your fantasy team, but the Philadelphia WRs are really what makes this offense tick. Even when they're not catching passes, they're influencing the defense and keeping safeties back which opens up holes for Barkley.
The Eagles will be without AJ Brown and they might be without DeVonta Smith so expect a much different-looking Philadelphia offense. Without that dynamic duo, Jahan Dotson and Parris Campbell will try to fill the void on the outside while Dallas Goedert will look to do damage inside. That might not be enough vs. a Bucs team with an explosive offense that would have no problem dropping 24+ points in this game.
The Eagles' offensive line is also banged up as both Lane Johnson and Mechi Becton were ruled out vs. the Saints. While the Bucs entered last week with several injuries (see below), they didn't accumulate additional significant injuries last week.
Denver got creative and was able to stifle Tampa Bay's offense last week with a new look they weren't expecting, but the Bucs have a week to learn from what's on tape and adjust. I'm trusting the Bucs in this spot at home in humid conditions the Eagles won't be used to.
Eagles vs Buccaneers Prop Pick
Alt Under 43 (-125)
When AJ Brown was officially ruled out I grabbed this alt under as I'm expecting a low scoring affair. Brown and DeVonta Smith are a huge part of the Eagles offense and Philadelphia also has several offensive lineman not 100%.
Meanwhile, the Bucs will still be without RT Luke Goedeke and his replacement, Justin Skule, was exploited for three sacks in Week 1. Both offenses have reason to be concerned this week so I like the game going under the key number of 43.
Eagles vs Buccaneers News
Will the Buccaneers' defensive line be healthy in this game? Both Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey missed last week's game vs. Denver and it showed as the Broncos' Tyler Badie ran for 7.8 YPC on nine carries.
Kancey hasn't played all season, and the Bucs didn't put him on IR (4 games) to start the year so it stands to reason he has a shot to play next week, but keep an eye on the practice participation reports (starting Wednesday) for him and Vea.
The Eagles were already without AJ Brown and then they lost DeVonta Smith to a concussion on a devastating hit. I'm not a doctor and concussion protocol results have surprised me before but that looked like a bad hit and I'd expect Smith to miss at least a week. We won't know for sure, however, until later in the week when it's announced if Smith passed protocol or not.
