Ezekiel Elliott Season Betting Props

Ezekiel Elliott could not have asked to be drafted into a better situation when the Dallas Cowboys called his name in the NFL Draft. The Cowboys offensive line has been amazing at leading the way for runners with the team rushing for a combined 4244 yards the past two seasons.

With expectations sky high, Elliott has seen his rookie season props set at some pretty high expectations. The Ohio State-alum has his OVER/UNDER for rushing yards set at 900 (-120/-120) and his touchdowns at 7.5 (-120/-120) according to Sportsbook.

Those numbers seem somewhat modest for such a talented back, but they have been challenging benchmarks for rookies to surpass in recent history. In the past three seasons only four rookie running backs have rushed for more than 900 yards and only five have scored eight or more touchdowns. Three of those running backs (Eddie Lacy, Jeremy Hill, Todd Gurley) have eclipsed both of those marks.

Elliott has the talent, but he will be facing some competition for carries. Darren McFadden is coming off his second 1000-yard campaign and managed to play in 16 games for just the second time in his career. The Cowboys also signed Alfred Morris who has rushed for 1000-plus yards in three of his four seasons in the NFL.
