Los Angeles Hopes To Keep ATS Win Streak Going With A Win

The Chargers took a 20-13 lead into halftime against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night but couldn’t hold on to that lead in what would eventually be a 30-27 loss. Justin Herbert went 23-for-30 with 280 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception in the losing effort. Joshua Palmer was on the receiving end of both of those touchdown passes, finishing the day with eight catches and 106 receiving yards.

Los Angeles got both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams back from injury prior to the Chiefs game, but Williams left after re-aggravating his ankle. Williams is listed as questionable to return against Arizona. The Chargers improved to 3-0 ATS over their last three games by covering the spread as a 5.5-point underdog against Kansas City and are now 7-3 ATS on the season.

Arizona’s Season Looks Lost After Most Recent Blowout Loss

The Cardinals got a brief reprieve from their disappointing season when backup quarterback Colt McCoy led the team to a 27-17 upset win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 10. Dreams of turning the season around were quickly squashed, however, as Arizona was completely dominated in a 38-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night in Mexico. Arizona fell to 2-4 SU and ATS over its last six games with the loss and is just 4-7 SU through 11 games this year.

Kyler Murray has missed the team’s last two games with a hamstring injury, but the Cardinals weren’t playing much better with their franchise quarterback under center as Murray has gone 1-4 SU and 2-3 ATS over his last five starts. Murray is questionable to return on Sunday, but Arizona will likely play it extra carefully with the young quarterback’s injury given the current state of the 2022 season.

Chargers: Keys to Win

The Chargers are 4-1 SU and ATS in games in which they’ve allowed 24 points or less and 1-4 SU in games when they’ve allowed over 24 points. Los Angeles shouldn’t have too much trouble scoring against this terrible Cardinals defense, so winning and covering the spread as a Chargers vs Cardinals prediction will likely just come down to making stops.

Cardinals: Keys to Win

Arizona averaged 29 points per game over its previous four games prior to Monday night’s loss against San Francisco. If the Cardinals can shake off the loss and turn this game into a shootout with a good day on offense, they’ll at least have a shot at picking up a win at home as a Chargers vs Cardinals pick.
