Miami Hopes To Start A New Win Streak After Loss In San Francisco

The Dolphins closed as 5-point underdogs on Sunday on the road against the San Francisco 49ers and wound up losing the game 33-17. Tua Tagovailoa went 18-for-33 with 295 passing yards and two touchdown passes, but he also turned the ball over three times with two interceptions and a fumble that was returned for a touchdown. Miami was 5-0 SU and 3-2 ATS in its previous five games.

With Jaylen Waddle sidelined for most of the game with a leg injury, Tyreek Hill did most of the heavy lifting on offense with nine catches, 146 receiving yards and a touchdown. Waddle did return briefly in the fourth quarter and is listed as questionable to play against the Chargers.

Miami is now 0-3 SU and ATS in its last three games as an underdog compared to a 6-1 SU and 4-3 ATS record as a favorite this season.

Los Angeles Has A Tough Path To A Playoff Spot After Latest Loss

The Chargers had no answers on defense for Josh Jacobs and Davante Adams on Sunday in a 27-20 loss on the road to the Las Vegas Raiders. Justin Herbert went 28-for-47 with 335 passing yards and one TD pass in the loss, spreading the ball around well with four different Chargers finishing with 60 or more receiving yards. It wasn’t enough to overcome the team’s struggles on defense, however.

Los Angeles looked to be in good position to earn a playoff spot with a 5-3 SU and ATS record back in early November. But with Sunday’s loss, the Chargers fell to 1-3 SU and 2-2 ATS over their last four games, and at 6-6 SU they are currently on the outside looking in with five games left in the regular season.

Dolphins: Keys to Win

Miami is 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS in games when it has scored 17 points or less and 7-0 SU and 6-1 ATS when scoring more than 17 points. If the Dolphins get their offense back on track against this struggling Los Angeles defense, they’ve got a great chance to win as a Dolphins vs Chargers prediction.

Chargers: Keys to Win

Los Angeles has allowed 27 points per game over its last three games, and things aren’t likely to get better against this high-powered Dolphins offense. It’ll likely be up to Justin Herbert and the offense to lead the way to a win as a Dolphins vs Chargers pick in a high-scoring affair at home.
