1. New York Giants (3-14) Projected trade with Tennessee: Cam Ward, QB, Miami

Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the heavy favorite to go first overall in the latest 2025 NFL Draft odds. In this scenario, he ends up in New York rather than Tennessee.

Ward led the nation in passing touchdowns (43), and finished second in passing yards (4,313) during a phenomenal campaign at the U. The fifth-year seniors' accuracy, arm strength and playmaking ability have him at the top of most QB-needy team's boards. It's easy to connect Ward with a Giants squad that desperately needs a spark at the game's most important position.

2025 First Overall Pick Odds

Odds To Go First Overall - 2025 NFL Draft
PlayerOdds To Go 1.1
QB Cam Ward-240
DE Abdul Carter+185

QB Shedeur Sanders+2600
QB Jaxson Dart+7500

2. Cleveland Browns (3-14): Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

Cleveland needs playmakers in the worst way. Sure the offensive and defensive lines need work, but a Myles Garrett trade will eventually arm CLE with plenty of draft capital to address those needs in a deep class of lineman.

I would start Hunter at corner and run 15-20 plays with him playing WR a game.

3. Tennessee Titans (3-14): Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Many will argue Tennessee should stay at 1 and take Ward. But, this Titans team is much further than a QB away from contention. Tennessee has a dire need for pass rushers and Carter fills that void.

From the latest chatter, it doesn't feel like new Titans GM Mike Borgonzi wants to tie his tenure to Ward.

4. New England Patriots (4-13): Will Campbell, OT/OG, LSU

I've seen Armand Membou frequently mocked in this spot after a sparkling combine performance. But, LSU lineman Will Campbell is a top-tier leader with the athletic pedigree that Eliot Wolf, who learned from his father Ron, covets.

Will Campbell at +150 odds to be the first offensive lineman drafted is my favorite bet of the first round.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-13): Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

I expect to see new GM James Gladstone prioritize the defensive line in Jacksonville. His former employers in LA saw great success over the past few years by drafting players ready to play now. Graham's ferocious pass rushing repertoire led Michigan to a National Championship and he'll be a huge part of the turn around in Jacksonville.

Graham is a huge -470 favorite to be the first defensive lineman drafted (not including Abdul Carter), implying an 82.46% probability.

6. Las Vegas Raiders (4-13): Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

The Raiders end Shedeur's fall out of the top five. Sanders isn't a clean quarterback prospect by any means. On the contrary, the Colorado QB's tendency to hold the ball, average arm strength, and longer release could cause him to fall further in the 2025 NFL Draft.

However, Sander's savvy pocket presence, poise under pressure and accuracy will be in high demand in a draft that lacks quarterbacking talent. The Sanders-Raiders link has been talked about ad nauseum over the past few months. John Spytek makes that link a reality in my 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

7. New York Jets (5-12): Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Go back and watch Johnson's tape against Marvin Harrison Jr. in the 2023 edition of "The Game". While he's yet to run the 40 or work out following an injury riddled 2024 season, Johnson is a toolsy corner with the size and anticipation skills to develop into a top-tier cover man.

Other than Sauce Gardner, the Jets lack starting calibre corners. Johnson solves that problem. The Michigan standout is currently the -110 favorite to be the first defensive back drafted (not including Travis Hunter) in the 2025 NFL Draft.

8. Carolina Panthers (5-12): Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

Despite battling through an ankle injury, Mykel Williams put together a season of amazing tape for NFL scouts to salivate over. In this scenario, he falls into the lap of the front-seven needy Carolina Panthers.

9. New Orleans Saints (5-12): Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

The Saints have needs all over their roster, but Cameron Jordan is 36-years old. Here, they begin their retooling by banking on the otherworldly athletic traits of Shemar Stewart. The Texas A&M edge rusher flew threw the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds at 267 pounds. He posted a 1.58 second 10-yard split in that time.

Despite his lack of production in college, Stewart has the talent to take a Danielle Hunter-like turn and become an impact player in the NFL.

10. Chicago Bears (5-12): Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Ryan Poles' shrewd moves to acquire veteran offensive lineman Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney lessen Chicago's need to draft another in this spot. As such, new head coach Ben Johnson gets his very own running back prodigy to play with.

Ashton Jeanty put the sword to college football this season, posting 2595 rushing yards on 6.9 yards per carry to go along with 29 total touchdowns. Even more impressively, Jeanty averaged 5.25 yards per carry AFTER contact. Jeanty's the ideal fit to help take the pressure off of Caleb Williams.

Jeanty to Chicago has picked up steam of late, as the Bears trades and free agency moves make offensive line less of an immediate need. The Boise State star's odds to be the first running back drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft have shifted from -1500 to -3500 in a week. Look for Jeanty to be a top-10 pick.

11. San Francisco 49ers (6-11): Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

Membou's combine performance has scouts buzzing. The 332-pound tackle posted a 4.91 40-yard dash to go along with a 34" vertical and 9'7 broad jump.

If he's still around at 11, John Lynch may run this card in himself. The 49ers offense has become a shell of itself when aging left tackle Trent Williams misses time. Here, the 49ers grab his successor.

12. Dallas Cowboys (7-10): Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

The Cowboys gladly step in to take Arizona wideout Tetairoa McMillan. The 6'4, 219-pounder's massive catch radius and playmaking ability makes him an ideal target for the Cowboys at no. 12.

13. Miami Dolphins (8-9): Nick Emmanwori, S, South carolina

This pick is the perfect blend of need and value. Miami has no safeties on their roster entering free agency, as they've yet to re-sign Jevon Holland.

Emmanwori recorded the best combine performance of any safety in the history of the event last week. His 4.4 40-yard-dash, 43-inch vertical, and 11 foot, 6 inch broad jump wowed scouts. Emmanwori's 6'3, 220-pound frame helps him lower the boom when tackling, and his unreal athleticism give him the upside of a future All-Pro.

14. Indianapolis Colts (8-9): Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

The Colts desperately need to aid Anthony Richardson or whomever starts at quarterbacks' development this off-season. Warren is a versatile chess piece who can help Shane Steichen's offense move the chains.

Warren is a heavy -450 favorite to be the first tight end drafted. I'd be surprised to see him make it out of the top-15.

15. Atlanta Falcons (8-9): Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia

Walker makes the quick trip to Atlanta to join the Falcons. Raheem Morris will be salivating at the myriad of ways he can use Walker to give his front-seven a jolt. Atlanta finished 31st in sacks last season.

The first linebacker drafted odds indicate a two-man race between Jalon Walker and Alabama standout Jihaad Campbell. While Campbell excelled at the NFL Scouting Combine, I believe Walker's pass-rushing prowess, and the upside that provides, gives him the edge.

16. Arizona Cardinals (8-9): Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College

Arizona's defense came together across the second-half of 2024, finishing top-10 in EPA per play. Head coach Jonathan Gannon needs more horses with so many of his defensive players set to be free agents.

In steps Donovan Ezeiruaku, a long, lean athletic pass-rusher with the ability to make an impact on Day 1. Ezeiruaku posted 14 sacks and 90 overall PFF grade last season.

17. Cincinnati Bengals (9-8): Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

Cincinnati has to get Trey Hendrickson some help up front. With a frame that looks chiseled from granite, Walter Nolen may be the best pass-rushing defensive tackle in this class. The Ole Miss product recorded 12 tackle for loss while constantly being double-teamed at the center of the Rebels' line.

18. Seattle Seahawks (10-7): Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

Jihaad Campbell is a downhill-missile that head coach Mike MacDonald will love to add to his front seven. MacDonald worked with Roquan Smith in Baltimore and will try to develop Campbell into that type of player.

Scouts were blown away by Campbell's footwork and agility at the combine. I'd be surprised to see him fall out of the top-20 in the 2025 NFL Draft.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7): Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

Mike Green is one of my favorite players in this class. Green led the nation with 17.5 sacks this season and his blend of power and violence will be loved in Tampa.

20. Denver Broncos (10-7): Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

Denver finds Sean Payton the mismatch player he's looking for with Colston Loveland. The Michigan tight end made the most of subpar quarterback play this season in Ann Arbor, displaying his slippery route running skills and catch point ability. I love this fit.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7): Kelvin Banks Jr., OT/OG, Texas

With a number of free agents up front, Pittsburgh goes the offensive line route in the first round. Banks can step in and take over for James Daniels or Isaac Seumalo up front right away or play the role of swing tackle.

The Texas product has shorter arms than most first-round tackles, but could find his home at guard in the NFL

22. Los Angeles Chargers (11-6): Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

The Los Angeles Chargers have been one of the NFL's worst rushing defenses for what seems like forever. While they improved last year, more help is required up front. Jim Harbaugh secures a player he knows well in Kenneth Grant.

Standing a massive 6'4, 331 pounds, Grant was a regular on Bruce Feldman's freak list. There are few humans alive with Grant's combination of size and ability.

23. Green Bay Packers (11-6): Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss

Trey Amos blends elite athleticism with a top-tier competitive nature. The former Alabama corner has the long speed and loose hips necessary to go step-for-step with the NFL's greatest playmakers.

With Jaire Alexander's status up in the air, the Packers plan for their future by selecting Amos.

24. Minnesota Vikings (14-3): Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

With Christian Darrisaw recovering from a torn ACL, and Cam Robinson a free agent, the Vikings grab their tackle of the future at pick 24. Josh Simmons would likely be long gone by this point in the draft, had he not suffered a knee injury earlier this season.

If his medicals are clear, Simmons has the potential to develop into the best tackle in this draft class.

25. Houston Texans (10-7): Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

Houston is incredibly happy to scoop up Texas playmaker Matthew Golden in this spot. Golden's explosive route-running combined with his phenomenal 4.29 40-yard dash at the combine have him soaring up draft boards.

With Stefon Diggs and Robert Woods free agents, and Tank Dell unlikely to play in 2025 after suffering a gruesome knee injury, the Texans must find reliable playmakers this off-season. Golden starts that process.

26. Los Angeles Rams (10-7): Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State

The Los Angeles Rams have had a busy week. Les Snead signed Davante Adams to give Matthew Stafford another weapon on the outside, before releasing Cooper Kupp on Thursday. As such, the Rams are in position to draft the best player available.

Williams continues Los Angeles' youth movement in the trenches. The Rams lost nose tackle Bobby Brown in free agency and have a huge hole to fill at the center of their defense. The powerful 6'3 327-pound Williams and his 88.6 PFF rushing defense grade fit in nicely.

27. Baltimore Ravens (12-5): Josh Conerly Jr, OT, Oregon

Baltimore faces a crisis up front, as Patrick Mekari, and Josh Jones headed to free agency. The smooth-moving Conerly can step in to ease those concerns.

Conerly Jr. protected Dillon Gabriel's blindside last season, and allowed just six hurries on 523 pass blocking snaps.

28. Detroit Lions (15-2): James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee

If not for rumored character concerns, James Pearce Jr. would likely go much higher than this.

Pearce's elite first step and bend around the edge make him a sought after prospect. Dan Campbell excels at keeping his players disciplined while getting the most out of them. Detroit is the perfect landing spot for Pearce.

29. Washington Commanders (12-5): Jahdae Barron, CB/S, Texas

Jahdae Barron's combine performance has boosted his draft stock. The versatile defensive back can play nickel, outside corner or even safety in the NFL. Luckily for Washington, the Commanders could use all three.

Drafting Barron allows head coach and defensive play-caller Dan Quinn to maximize his exotic coverage calls in 2025.

30. Buffalo Bills (13-4): Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame

A forgotten man this NFL Draft cycle, Notre Dame corner Benjamin Morrison is a steal for Buffalo at the end of the first-round. Should his medicals check out, Morrison could end up going far higher than this.

Morrison's advanced route anticipation skills make him one of the best cover corners in this class. His mirroring ability and ball skills give Morrison early Pro Bowl upside. Buffalo reaps the reward at pick 30.

31. Kansas City Chiefs (15-2): Airoentae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

Kansas City's trade of former All-Pro Joe Thuney was confusing to say the least. As such, Brett Veach and company will be praying a top-tier tackle falls to them at pick no. 31.

Ersery posted a 9.89 relative athletic score at the NFL Scouting Combine with an unreal 1.75 10-yard split, at 331 pounds. The 6'6 monster has sweet feet and a real nasty streak. He's the perfect man to protect Patrick Mahomes' blind side.

32. Philadelphia Eagles (14-3): Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina

The Super Bowl champions Eagles continue their secondary overhaul with the selection of Revel. The East Carolina corner could be the steal of the first round, provided his ACL recovery looks good enough to convince teams to draft him high.

Revel boasts prototypical size, with the speed and fluidity necessary to mirror elite receivers in coverage.
