Never applies to Week 6 Trends

They say you should never say never but Week 6 NFL betting trends have a few cases where 'never' can be said safely.

As in, the Raiders have never covered a spread against the Cleveland Browns (they are 0-5 ATS).

As in the Houston Texans have never beaten the Baltimore Ravens (in four career tries).

As in, the home team has never won the past four times the Bills and Giants have clashed.

Of course, never has a way of coming back to bite you in the ass and drain cash from your bankroll, so tread carefully with these trends when betting Week 6 NFL games.

Carolina has lost 13 straight games as an underdog and they are road pups in Atlanta on Sunday. But beware the Cats, who have been live dogs this season, going 3-0 ATS in their past three games. Also beware the fact they have covered only three spreads in 15 trips to Atlanta.

And the Lions almost never beat the 49ers, losing seven straight and 12 of 13 dating back to 1987 against San Francisco. But these are not your father's Lions - they are 5-0 and have been money in the bank lately, going 9-0-1 ATS.

And the Rams, coming off a bye week as this week's biggest underdog at Green Bay, almost never win as a big dog. In 18 games as a pup of 9 or more points, they have lost 17 times.
