NFL ATS Results: Week 8 Betting Recap

The Pittsburgh Steelers were home underdogs against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8 NFL betting action on Sunday afternoon, but Ben Roethlisberger and company exploded for a 51-34 victory to highlight the week's betting results.

The Colts were 3-point road favorites in that contest, but saw Roethlisberger throw for 522 yards with six touchdowns and no interceptions to drop them to 5-3 SU and 6-2 ATS on the season. The Steelers are 5-3 SU and 4-4 ATS and riding a two-game winning streak after blowing out Indianapolis.

Elsewhere in Week 8, Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos had no trouble covering against the San Diego Chargers with a 35-21 win on Thursday Night Football, while the New Orleans Saints blasted the Green Bay Packers 44-23 at home on Sunday Night Football in a game that was listed as a pick'em at the online sportsbooks at one point in the week.

The Detroit Lions came back to beat the Atlanta Falcons 22-21 over at London's Wembley Stadium but couldn't cover the 3.5-point spread, while the Seattle Seahawks couldn't cover 5.5 points on the road at Carolina in a 13-9 win. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost outright to the Minnesota Vikings by a 19-13 score as a 2.5-point favorite.

The Chiefs won and covered against St. Louis, with Houston, Miami, New England, Arizona, and Cleveland doing the same against Tennessee, Jacksonville, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Oakland. Cincinnati topped Baltimore 27-24 in a game that was a pick'em, and the Buffalo Bills blasted the New York Jets by a score of 43-23 as 3-point betting underdogs.
