Laquon Treadwell Combine

NFL Draft Prop: O/U WRs Taken in the First

The wide receiver pool enter the NFL Draft looks incredibly deep among the top tier, but there is not the same level of team altering talent we have seen in previous years. However, with the emphasis on the passing game getting bigger and bigger there is no doubt that a premium can be placed on receivers.

The OVER/UNDER for number of receivers taken in the first round has been set at 3.5 (+110/-140) at Sportsbook.

The two pass catchers that are locks to go within the first round are Laquon Treadwell of Ole Miss and Notre Dame’s Will Fuller. The two are different types of receivers with Treadwell being the big bodied, jump ball type and Fuller being the vertical threat.

Behind them is a logjam of Michael Thomas, Josh Doctson and Corey Coleman. All three of those players could hear their names called in the first round with each bringing a different set of skills to the field.

A few teams that could use a boost to their receiving core would be Los Angeles (No.15), Houston (No.22), Minnesota (No.23) and Cincinnati (No.24).
