The NFC East doesn't look like an easy win for anyone anymore, and suddenly the New York Giants look like a legitimate threat to challenge the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys.
The Giants will host the Pokes on Sunday on the late card, but Dallas is in off a bye week and that might mean a series sweep for Tony Romo over Eli Manning.
While we may be in store for another shootout, as seven of the past nine meetings have played over the posted total, the Cowboys come into this one on an ATS win streak of 7-1 after taking a week off. They're also on a 6-2 bookie streak when catching points. New York is laying -1.
Off the early card, the NFC South offers us New Orleans at Atlanta, where the Saints are laying -10. The Saints are on a 5-1 ATS run against Atlanta, which has lost five of seven SU when hosting New Orleans. Conflicting numbers also find the Saints on a 2-5 SU slide on the road, and the Falcons mired in an 0-7 rut both SU and ATS when catching points.
The Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning are back on Sunday night primetime, after they handed Kansas City its first loss of the season last Sunday night. And this time it's against Manning's key AFC-rival, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, who are also on national TV for a second straight week.
The Pats lost a controversial decision to the Panthers on Monday after a non-pass interference call at the end of the game. Both of these teams will be fired up in Foxborough, where the Pats are on winning runs of 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS this season. Also, Denver is mired in a 1-4 slide both SU and ATS against the Patriots. Denver is laying -1.
Monday night will provide us with an interesting dynamic as two of last year's exciting breakthrough quarterbacks will take center stage, with 49ers signal-caller Colin Kaepernick and Washington's Robert Griffin III meeting in the nation's capital. San Francisco, which is laying -5, has covered seven straight Monday night appearances. The Niners are also in on additional wins streaks of 4-1 SU in Washington since 1994 and 6-1 ATS when laying chalk on the road.
All that coincides nicely with the Redskins' 1-6 ATS skid as an underdog. (See Week 12 NFL trends on all games with Sportsbook numbers, visit them for the latest numbers, especially if you like betting underdogs.
