The line for the game between the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings was on the move on Friday night as news broke that running back Adrian Peterson would be made inactive by the team for Sunday afternoon's contest.
The Vikings sat as 3.5-point home underdogs against the Patriots early in the week, but with Peterson not suiting up for Sunday that line went up to Minnesota +5.5 at some sportsbooks by early Friday evening. Peterson rushed for 75 yards in the Vikings' 34-6 win over the Rams in Week 1.
