Denver has won the last four meetings with the Chargers, including a 28-20 win at San Diego in early November. The Chargers, however, have played well in their most recent trips to Mile High; the Chargers are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven trips to Denver.

The total was sitting 55.5, and there are some serious trends pointing to the OVER. Twelve of the last 15 games with San Diego as a road dog have gone OVER the total. Ten of the last 12 Denver home games have gone OVER the total.

Two other games feature totals in the 50s, while several others have totals in the high 40s. The Washington Redskins visit the Atlanta Falcons in another game expected to be high-scoring and featuring a point spread on the move. After Sportsbook as low as -3, the Falcons were 6-point favorites by mid-week. The total was sitting at 51.5. The Falcons have played to five straight OVER results as home favorites.

The Philadelphia Eagles’ trip to Minnesota also has a total of 51. The surging Eagles opened as 2.5-point favorites, but were laying 5 at several shops as of Tuesday night.

The Eagles have won five straight games with quarterback Nick Foles and running back LeSean McCoy continuing to lead an explosive attack. Seven of the Eagles’ last nine road games have gone OVER the total. Seven of the Vikings’ last nine home games have gone OVER the total.

Odds & Ends

The Cleveland Browns opened as 2.5-point favorites over the visiting Chicago Bears, but that number was shrinking quickly and could be found as low as a pick‘em by the middle of the week. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Bears as the favorites for the contest by kickoff this weekend.

The Cincinnati Bengals are growing road favorites over the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North clash on Monday night. The Steelers are 9-2-1 against the spread in their last 12 games as home underdogs.
