NFL Preseason Betting Lines for Week 4

The Kansas City Chiefs will close out their 2014 NFL preseason betting slate this week with a game in Green Bay against the Packers, with the team now having gone just 7-32-2 ATS in their last 41 exhibition contests according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

And that includes an 0-2-1 ATS record so far in the current preseason for the Chiefs, who will take on the Packers at Lambeau Field starting at 7:00pm ET on Thursday night. Those two teams also met in the preseason last year, with the Chiefs picking up a 30-8 home victory and a rare preseason NFL betting payout as a 4.5-point favorite.

All 16 Week 4 NFL preseason games will take place on Thursday night this week as the teams do their final tuneups for the start of the regular season - and try to avoid having anyone important get hurt in the process.

The St. Louis Rams, though, already had someone important get hurt, as they've lost starting quarterback Sam Bradford for the season with a serious knee injury suffered in their game last week. The Rams now turn to Shaun Hill at quarterback as they close out their preseason betting slate on the road in Miami on Thursday night.

The Lions play in Buffalo to close out their preseason slate on Thursday, with Detroit having gone 14-4 ATS in its past 18 preseason betting matchups to pay out on the NFL odds at the sportsbooks. The Lions are also 6-0 both SU and ATS in their last six preseason games against the Bills.

Elsewhere on the NFL betting trends for the final week of the league's preseason slate, the UNDER has gone 8-2 in the last 10 preseason games between the Bengals and the Colts, the OVER has gone 9-1 in the past 10 preseason games between the Eagles and the Jets, and the Cowboys are just 2-7 ATS in their nine most recent preseason games at home.
