NFL Props: Who Will Make the Playoffs?

With just two weeks left in the NFL's regular season, the question on everyone’s mind is “who is going to make the playoffs?” This week’s NFL prop betting gives bettors a chance to wager on which teams they believe will find their way into the NFL playoffs and which teams will end up on the outside looking in.

Here’s a look at the teams available to bet on at Bovada in Week 16 to make or miss the playoffs, as well as a prop bet on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Buffalo Bills.

Who will make and miss the playoffs in the AFC?

Currently at 8-6 SU, the New York Jets (Yes -115, No -115) and the Cincinnati Bengals (Yes +200, No -260) still control their own destiny to make the playoffs as a Wild Card in the AFC; but both have tough remaining schedules as New York faces the Giants this week and Miami on the road next week and Cincinnati faces Arizona this week and Baltimore next week. Longshots available to bet to make the playoffs in the AFC include Kansas City (Yes +900, No -1800) and Tennessee (Yes +1000, No -2000).

Who will make and miss the playoffs in the NFC?

With the NFC’s playoff picture looking fairly complete with Detroit and Atlanta seemingly settled into the Wild Card spots and three divisions already clinched, all eyes turn to the NFC East. Will the New York Giants (Yes +250, No -325) or the Philadelphia Eagles (Yes +525, No -850) make the playoffs? For Philadelphia to win the division, the Giants would have to lose to the Jets this week and beat Dallas next week while Philadelphia won its final two games.

Will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Buffalo Bills win another game this season?

After starting off the season on a promising note, the Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have both tanked. Buffalo has lost seven straight and Tampa Bay has lost eight straight. Will either team win another game this season? Tampa Bay’s last two games are on the road against Carolina and Atlanta, while Buffalo’s last two games are at home against Denver and on the road at New England. Bettors can bet that the Bills or Buccaneers will win at least one game at -210, or that they both won’t at +170.
