Deebo Samuel Receiving Touchdowns: UNDER 6 (-115)

Deebo is a great football player, but he had the outlier year of all outlier years last season with 1,770 all-purpose yards and 14 total touchdowns, including eight rushing TDs.

Now with a new quarterback chucking him the rock in the fresh-faced Trey Lance, Deebo is an obvious regression candidate in essentially every category. He caught six touchdowns last season, but we would be surprised if he got there again in this run-first offense that is also loaded with weapons.

Deebo Samuel Rushing + Receiving Yards: UNDER 1,250.5 (-115)

Sticking with Samuel here, we like the UNDER on his total yardage prop of 1,250. In the two seasons prior to last, Samuel had 961 and 417 total yards, respectively.

His second season was cut short due to injury, but 1,250 yards is a lot for a player who also complained about being used too much in the run game after last season. I see the Niners cutting back his rushing work, and the pass volume just won’t be there with Lance under center.

Mike Evans Receptions: UNDER 74.5 (-105)

Mike Evans is on a Hall of Fame trajectory as the only player in NFL history to start a career with eight consecutive seasons of 1,000-plus yards. But this season he might have the most competition for targets of his career.

The Bucs already have star receiver Chris Godwin on the roster, and signed both Julio Jones and Russell Gage in the offseason. Add in the potential return of Rob Gronkowski at some point later in the year and Leonard Fournette’s usage in the passing game and there doesn’t appear to be as many footballs to go around this season.

Evans has also caught more than 74 passes only twice in eight seasons, and hasn’t done it with Tom Brady.

D.J. Moore Touchdowns: OVER 5.5 (-105)

D.J. Moore is a great talent, but he has gained a bit of a reputation in his four-year career as being allergic to the end zone.

Moore has three consecutive seasons of four touchdowns, and only had two in his rookie year, but things are looking up for the former first-round pick.

Baker Mayfield is now the QB in Carolina, and he represents a major upgrade at the position from what Moore has had in recent seasons. Sam Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater, Kyle Allen and a washed Cam Newton have been the primary QBs in Moore’s four seasons, and we think he can double his TD output from the last few years this season. Robbie Anderson Receiving Yards: UNDER 725.5 (-115)

While I have a lot of faith in Moore’s ability, the same can’t be said for Robbie Anderson.

Coming off the worst year of his career (granted, the QB play was awful), Anderson is at best the third option in the passing game behind Moore and Christian McCaffrey and could be even lower if second-year wideout Terrace Marshall or the newly acquired Laviska Shenault establish a connection with Mayfield.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Receiving Yards: OVER 775.5 (-115)

With Tyreek Hill gone from Kansas City, there are a ton of vacated targets to go around from Patrick Mahomes.

And while the Chiefs invested heavily in the position by drafting Skyy Moore and signing Marquez Valdes-Scantling from Green Bay, it’s the former Steeler JuJu Smith-Schuster who could be the biggest beneficiary.

The Chiefs throw the ball a ton, and JuJu’s style as a slot receiver who’s great at working over the middle of the field fits well as a high-volume role.

Travis Kelce is Mahomes’ primary target in this offense, but I wouldn’t be surprised if JuJu ends up being the top wideout on the team by a wide margin. For that player in this offense with that quarterback, 775 yards is low.
