NFL Week 12 Betting Primer

Another week of football means another week to win money and another bookie we can put out of business. It's been a case of extremes the past two weeks, with underdogs going 10-4 ATS in Week 10, but favorites answering back by going 9-3-2 ATS in Week 11. The dogs hold the year-to-date lead over the faves with a 78-73-10 ATS record. This is right on par with last year's record as underdogs hit in 51.5% of games.

Bettors will want to keep a close eye on games with bigger spreads this week and give extra consideration to the favorites in those games. With five of Sunday's games having a spread of seven or more points, it's notable that favorites are 19-12-1 ATS in games with a spread of seven or more points this season. If you're getting in on some moneyline parlay action, you'll also be interested to know that favorites went 26-6 SU (81.25%) in those games.

Without further adieu, here's this week's trends, stats and nuggets of pure gold that will pave the way to victory and set the framework to destroy your bookie's life!
