If you’re not into the traditional moneyline and spread betting or you just need to mix things up a bit, there’s a ton of props available for the second week of NFL action. I’ve listed some of my favorite Week 2 bets below.
How many games will be decided by exactly one point in Week 2?
Like most of the props available at Sportsbook this prop is a simple OVER or UNDER — choose the right one and get paid. It truly is that simple.
Four games were decided by exactly one point last week (23-22 Bengals over Jets, 20-19 Giants over Cowboys, 21-20 Broncos over Panthers and 35-34 Raiders over Saints) so the total has been set at 1.5. There is some value on the OVER, but one-point victories are pretty uncommon as they happen in only about 3.45% of games, so the likelihood of more than one happening in consecutive weeks is extremely low.
- Over 1.5 +170
- Under 1.5 -250
How many sacks will Joey Bosa get in Week 2?
If Chargers’ fans are looking for some consolation for losing Keenan Allen for the year, they may or may not find it in the injury to their No. 1 receiver Sportsbook up a spot on the roster for DE Joey Bosa.
The Chargers play a Jacksonville Jaguars team Sunday that allowed Blake Bortles to get sacked three times. The major caveat with this prop is that Bosa is unlikely to suit up as he’s struggling to get healthy from a hamstring strain. If this were to happen, any money placed on this wager would be returned to the bettor.
- Over 0.5 +110
- Under 0.5 -150
How many interceptions will Sam Bradford throw in Week 2?
Bradford is back, baby! The man with two sets of feet has gotten the call for the Vikings and has had just under two weeks to learn an NFL playbook.
The OVER/UNDER here is 0.5 and if you have the same amount of faith in Bradford that I do, -200 is stupendous value for him to eclipse that total. The former first overall pick has thrown 52 interceptions in his 63 games played and has been picked off at least twice in his first starts for both of his former teams.
- Over 0.5 -200
- Under 0.5 +150
