NFL Week 4: Prop Bets

The first quarter of the NFL season is almost in the books and if you, like me, are having no luck on your spread bets, why not try out some prop bets this week? Sportsbooks have released a variety of propositions for you to wager on and I’ve collected my favorites and assembled them here.

Chiefs Total Interceptions Week 4

Somebody should check the Chiefs’ bags for Stickum this week because their defense caught everything against the Jets in Week 3. KC picked off an astounding six Ryan Fitzpatrick passes last week in a 24-3 win against the Jets. Sportsbook is offering a +120 line for them to get more than one this week. So, what are the chances that happens?

Since their bye week in 2015, the Chiefs have picked off more than one pass four times in 11 games. Ben Roethlisberger has been picked off in all three games so far this year so there is a little value on this line, but not much.

Chiefs Total Interceptions Week 4
  • Over 1 +120
  • Under 1 -160

Ryan Fitzpatrick Total Interceptions Week 4

I legitimately thought it was a mistake when I checked the score of the Chiefs-Jets game and I saw Fitzpatrick had been picked off six times. I Googled it to make sure it wasn’t a record – some dude threw 8 in the ’50s – and made sure I didn’t start him in any fantasy leagues.

The line for Fitz’ interceptions is the same as the line for the Chiefs D. If you think he will have another sideways week and get picked off multiple times by the ball-hawking Seahawks, there’s money to be made.

Ryan Fitzpatrick Total Interceptions Week 4
  • Over 1 +120
  • Under 1 -160

Terrell Pryor: Total Passing, Rushing and Receiving Yards Week 4

Terrell Pryor was the only source of offense for the Browns last week. He had 200 passing, rushing and receiving yards combined against the Dolphins and will be taking his talents to D.C. in Week 4 to take on the Redskins.

The OVER/UNDER for his total yards this week is set at 85.5 and you may want to lean on the UNDER. He hadn’t posted more than 68 yards in a game before last week but his targets are getting ramped up. If you’re a fantasy player, this may be the last week Pryor has any value. Josh Gordon is set to make his return for the Browns and will demand a lot of targets going forward.

Terrell Pryor: Total Passing, Rushing and Receiving Yards Week 4
  • Over 85.5-120
  • Under 85.5-120
