The Detroit Lions are slim favorites on the road against the New York Jets for Sunday afternoon, but NFL bettors will be watching them closely on Sunday morning to ensure that star wide receiver Calvin Johnson is going to be on the field.

Elsewhere, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown is doubtful for their game in Pittsburgh on Sunday with a thumb injury; Mike Glennon will start in his place. Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker is questionable for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts with a wrist injury; if he can't go then Charlie Whitehurst starts in his place. Both the Bucs (+8) and the Titans (+9) are big road underdogs.
In total there are only 11 games on tap for Sunday, with each of Cincinnati, Cleveland, Denver, St. Louis, Arizona, and Seattle on a bye this week. The Eagles are the only undefeated SU team in action, on the road in San Francisco as 5-point underdogs. The Chargers are the only undefeated ATS team in action, at home against Jacksonville as 14-point favorites.
The Jaguars are 0-3 both SU and ATS, and 3-0 on the OVER/UNDER heading into Sunday's kickoff against the Chargers, and San Diego is 13-1 ATS in its last 14 home games against AFC South teams. The OVER has gone 5-1 in the last six games between the Chargers and the Jaguars.
