NFL Week 6 Odds: Mismatch Outlook

It should come as no surprise to find the biggest line in history is also the biggest discrepancy when checking the NFL matchups for Week 6, in accordance with OddsShark's Power Rankings.

No. 2 Denver is laying -27 points at Bovada to visiting Jacksonville, which once again is ranked dead last at No. 32 in the Power Rankings. The Broncos boast the league's top offense, while the Jaguars have the most futile offense in the NFL. Coming off their marathon win over the Cowboys, Denver has won 16 straight regular-season games and has now scored 230 points, the most by any team through five games in NFL history.

The next biggest gap in the rankings is No. 1 Seattle hosting No. 27 Tennessee, in what might actually be a physical battle between two staunch defensive units. The Seahawks have the sixth-ranked stop unit in the NFL, while the Titans have the ninth-stingiest. The Seahawks have won five of their last six games against the Titans franchise dating back to 1988. Seattle is laying -14.

In an NFC West clash, the resurgent 49ers, who are ranked 10th in the Power Rankings at OddsShark, play host to No. 28 Arizona. Since two embarrassing losses San Francisco has won two straight and rolls into this contest on a 7-1 straight-up run against the Cardinals, who have also won two in a row. San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns the last time he faced Arizona, as his 114.6 passer rating was his second highest last season. The defending NFC champs are currently -11.

As for the consensus plays at OddsShark: The Colts are the top play, with 69 percent of the pollsters taking them over San Diego; Players also like Green Bay, as 64 percent like the Pack to win in Baltimore; The Eagles have received 63 percent of the voters' support in their game in Tampa Bay; and in a highly-anticipated NFC East showdown in Dallas, 63 percent like the Cowboys to bounce back from their disheartening loss to Denver and defeat Washington.
