Cleveland has played three close, intense games the past three weeks, the last two being decided in overtime. This is the Browns' third road game in four weeks.

The Browns need to play hard since they lack talent at the skill positions. I don't see the Browns maintaining this kind of intense pace. So I'm going to lay 5.5 points with rested St. Louis and fade the Browns.

The Rams are off a bye. They match up well to the Browns with Todd Gurley and a defensive front that is the best in the league at putting pressure on the quarterback. Gurley is showing signs of being a franchise running back. The Browns rank last in run defense giving up 150 yards a game on the ground and five yards per carry. They rate 30th overall in yards given up.

The Browns are a grass team. This is their first game inside a dome.

Over the play in vikings vs lions game

I like Minnesota-Detroit to go over 44.5 points. The teams met in Week 2 with Minnesota winning 26-16. Detroit's offense woke up last week at home against Chicago. The Lions have the passing game to produce points against any defense at home on their fast carpet. Matthew Stafford regained some much needed confidence.

Adrian Peterson produced 192 yards from scrimmage in the first meeting. Detroit has already permitted 10 rushing touchdowns. I'll put it to you this way: Peterson definitely is in my starting fantasy football lineup.

take the points with the buccaneers

I'll also take 3.5 points with Tampa Bay on the road against Washington. This is the first time the Redskins are favored since Game 9 of last year. The Redskins have a cluster injury problem at cornerback and could be missing their starting offensive left tackle and center. DeSean Jackson also doesn't look ready to come back.

Kirk Cousins has thrown multiple interceptions in four of six games.

Washington is 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 home contests, while Tampa Bay has covered six of its past nine road matchups. The Buccaneers have the receiving talent to take advantage of Washington possibly being down its three top cornerbacks.
