Last week, the Pittsburgh Steelers highlighted a great week of NFL betting action by taking on one of the AFC’s toughest teams in a battle for conference supremacy. This week, they’ll have to do the same; this time against their hated division rival, the Baltimore Ravens.

Over their last 10 games against each other, Baltimore and Pittsburgh have been very evenly matched with the Steelers holding just a slight edge at 6-4 SU and 5-4-1 ATS.

Two teams opened as double-digit favorites this week with the Houston Texans being favored by 11 at home against the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys favored by 12 points at home hosting the Seattle Seahawks, both at TopBet.

Totals betting was dominated by the UNDER at 9-4 last week. This week, only one posted total is below 40; San Francisco at Washington, which currently has a total of 37.5 at 5Dimes.

Favorites held the slight edge in Week 8 with a 7-6 ATS record while home teams were 10-3 SU.

Key matchups with Week 9 odds courtesy of BetOnline:

Jets +1.0 at Buffalo – Both teams will be looking to strengthen their playoff chances in this battle between AFC East rivals on Sunday. New York is 5-1 SU and 4-2 ATS over their last six against the Bills.

Buccaneers +9 at New Orleans – Both teams are 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS in their last four games. The Saints will try to bounce back from a shocking loss as a 14-point favorite to previously-winless St. Louis last week.

Green Bay -3.5 at San Diego – To remain undefeated, Green Bay will have to face a tough road test this week at San Diego. Not only are the Packers 5-2 ATS this season, but they are 4-0 SU and ATS in their four meetings with San Diego since 1996.

Bears +7 at Philadelphia – After losing four straight to fall to 1-4 SU, Philadelphia has won two straight games, both against division rivals. They will try to keep it rolling against Chicago, who is also 2-0 SU and ATS in their last two games.
