Packers home to Falcons in NFL betting action

The Green Bay Packers have not yet won a game since QB Aaron Rodgers went down and out with that collarbone injury.

Following a 5-2 start, the Pack is now just a loss or two away from dropping out of the NFC playoff picture.

Rodgers' return is still in doubt as the Packers get ready to host the Atlanta Falcons Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Green Bay might be having problems at quarterback, but its defense hasn't helped any, either, giving up at least 26 points in each of its last six games. The Packers are 1-5 ATS over that span.

Atlanta, meanwhile, just broke a five-game losing streak with a 34-31 overtime victory over Buffalo. Still, the Falcons are 3-9 SU, 4-8 ATS on the season.

In the early betting some books were listing Green Bay as a touchdown favorite over Atlanta at Sportsbook.

Atlanta owns a 6-1 ATS mark in its last 7 games at Green Bay, but overall is mired in a 4-11 ATS in its last 15 games. Green Bay, meanwhile, is 8-2-1 ATS in its last 11 games at home but that positive trend was built on the back of Rodgers. Watch for his status during the week (follow our Twitter guru).

The Falcons will look to vanquish their hosts on Sunday, as they are 4-8 ATS versus the spread this season, while the Packers are 5-6-1 ATS. Atlanta is 7-5 against the total, while Green Bay is 6-6 versus the number.
