Davante Adams and the Green Bay Packers are solid favorites in NFL betting odds Sunday vs Pittsburgh.

Rodgers And Company Look to Steamroll Gimpy Steelers

Despite having a negative point differential, Green Bay has strung together two wins to claim the top spot in the NFC North. A thrilling victory over the 49ers has put the Packers in pole position to steamroll the depleted Steelers, who are trending in the opposite direction with consecutive losses. Lambeau Field is never an ideal environment for a bounce-back game.

Sportsbook Odds Analysis

The Steelers still have a formidable defensive unit to rely upon. But given how poorly Ben Roethlisberger has played, being without Diontae Johnson and possibly JuJu Smith-Schuster in Week 4 will hurt significantly. After sputtering in Week 1, Green Bay’s offense has found its groove and covering a 6.5-point spread shouldn’t be a difficult task.

Pittsburgh News & Notes

It’s all gone horribly wrong for the Steelers. Not only has Roethlisberger looked like a shell of his former self, but the wide receiver group has failed to stay healthy.

Averaging 5.5 yards per passing attempt is not a recipe for success. Roethlisberger looks out of sorts, overthrowing his receivers frequently, and he now faces the possibility of being without both Johnson and Smith-Schuster.

The lone bright spot has been Najee Harris, a versatile weapon who has been the primary ball carrier for the Steelers. He’ll need to have a monster game as a rusher and receiver if the Steelers hope to put a respectable number of points on the board.

Green Bay News & Notes

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams not surprisingly were the driving force behind the win vs the 49ers and they’ll look to carve up an exploitable Steelers secondary. If T.J. Watt misses another game for Pittsburgh, Rodgers will have less pressure to deal with.

Meanwhile, the threat of Aaron Jones will be looming large as well. But it’s difficult not to worry about the wide receiver production outside of Adams, which was a big factor in a shocking Week 1 loss to the Saints. Luckily for Green Bay fans, it hasn’t been an issue since.

The Packers have definitely allowed teams to score far too easily this season. It will be interesting to see how a leaky defense deals with an out-of-form Roethlisberger.

Staff Betting Pick: Packers -6.5 (-110)

The Packers, looking to stay perfect at home, will keep the momentum going against a toothless Pittsburgh side. It remains to be seen which key Steelers will recover in time for this clash but even if some missing pieces return to the fold, Pittsburgh should struggle to put up points at Lambeau Field.
