The Los Angeles Rams are 7.5-point underdogs on the road against division rival San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 NFL action Sunday. The Rams are fresh off an awful effort vs. the Cardinals who beat them 41-10. The 49ers were upset by the Vikings in a disappointing effort last week.
Expect the Rams to be in desperation mode because starting the season 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the division is close to a death sentence. The total in this game is set at 43.5 with several key offensive players expected to miss this game.

Rams vs. 49ers Picks Week 3
Under 43.5 Rams - 49ers (-110)
Both teams have powerful offenses at full strength, but that won't be the case on Sunday. The Rams will be without their two biggest offensive weapons (Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua) and have several concerns along the offensive line. The 49ers won't have the services of Christian McCaffrey or Deebo Samuel, so it's fair to expect a less explosive offense in San Francisco.
The lookahead line for this game (prior to the Kupp and Samuel injuries) was 48.5, so you're not getting the best of this number, but I like that it's still hanging above the key number of 43.
Both teams use a lot of pre-snap motions which can bleed the clock. According to FTN Fantasy, combined, the Rams and 49ers average 28.55 seconds off the play clock before calling a play which is on the slower side of things when compared to the rest of the NFL.
San Francisco QB Brock Purdy hasn't looked like an MVP candidate yet this season and only has one TD and one INT to his name. Rams QB Matthew Stafford also has just one TD and one INT through two games. With both offenses looking rusty at times and a bunch of concerning injuries, I'm betting on a rock fight.

Rams Vs 49ers Prop Pick
Jauan Jennings O3.5 rec (+116)
With so many 49er weapons missing, the targets from Brock Purdy have to go somewhere and Jennings is the next man up. George Kittle missed practice today out of nowhere so I don't expect him to play. The 49ers were already without Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey.
