I really struggled to handicap this game given the Rams' and Texans' comparable preseason performances so far. So, I'm going back to a bet I'm considering laying for EVERY. SINGLE. game this week: the UNDER.

The Texans have gone UNDER 34.5 points in one of their two normal preseason games so far this year while the Rams have hit the UNDER twice.

But, as I also laid out in my Dolphins vs Bucs picks, the UNDER has been a sweet play, in general, this preseason. The UNDER has hit in 26 of 32 games so far this year — a whopping 78.8% hit rate. The books bank on the points, and they just aren't coming. Let's ride the UNDER again in this one.

If you're going to make me take a side on this contest, I'd bet the Texans -6.5. It's a line they've covered in their last two preseason games, but those were against the Giants and struggling Steelers. And I really hate taking massive favorite lines like this in preseason.
