This may not be the sexiest game, but I'm still breaking down Saints vs Cardinals odds and picks tonight for Preseason Week 1.
The Cardinals are expecting big things this season, with the return of Kyler Murray at QB and rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. entering year one with huge expectations. I think the campaign will start off well for Arizona, backing a Cards -1 pick.

Saints vs Cardinals Odds & Picks
Cardinals -1 (-110)
The Cards may be one of the least talented offenses come the regular season, but I'm backing them here in Preseason Week 1.
For starters, the Cardinals have won three of their last four preseason contests. But, the big reason for this pick is motivated depth.
The Cards have plenty of legit NFL players fighting for jobs who will likely play in the preseason, including backup QBs Desmond Ridder and Clayton Tune. The also have a full-on battle for RB reps, with DeeJay Dallas and Michael Carter (who both took real snaps for the Seahawks and Jets last year) currently listed as the fourth- and fifth-string running backs.
The Saints don't have the QB depth they've had in recent years (which lifted them to a 4-4 record in the last three preseason campaigns). It's just Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener on the depth chart after QB1 Derek Carr, who I doubt plays this weekend.
The Cardinals are also exceptionally healthy heading into this week. They don't have a single player on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, while the Saints have three.
