With these Steelers vs Lions odds and picks for the preseason Week 3 matchup, I'm taking the underdogs.
The Steelers' offense has been awful this preseason, so I don't really get why they're a touchdown favorite in this contest. I'll take the Lions on the juicy moneyline.

Lions Moneyline (+220)
Why in the world are the Lions this big of underdogs? They're 3-2 in their last five preseason games, coming off a win over the Chiefs last week. The Steelers, on the other hand, have been dreadful so far this preseason, racking up just 15 total points across two games (two 6+ point losses, I might add).
Justin Fields and Russell Wilson have looked awful at QB, unable to move the Steelers down the field at all. I don't care if the Lions rest all their starters this week, I'm sure the backups can still hold down Pittsburgh's QB duo.
WILD… The #Steelers played both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields at QB for the entirety of today’s preseason game and ONLY SCORED 3 POINTS.

They threw for a total of 139 yards, COMBINED.
They even played a lot of their starters, Pittsburgh’s offense… 😳😳😳 pic.twitter.com/ShH9iLmvsy
Even if you take these two specific teams out of the equation, a line like this is wild in general. Only two teams were favored by more than four points in opening lines for last week's preseason contests: the Raiders and Texans. Houston won and covered, but the -4 Raiders lost by 15 points. The books just aren't great at setting these preseason lines. So, when they give us a massive underdog like this... we take it.
