In this Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, file photo, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (12) waves as he leaves the field following an NFL football game against the Miami Dolphins in Indianapolis. Luck, who in strange circumstances never fully explained, missed the entire 2017 season with a shoulder injury. Like the Texan's J.J. Watt, is having a monster of a comeback year.

Week 13 Team OddsShark SuperContest NFL Picks

After three weeks atop the Team OddsShark standings, UFC commentator Jon Anik has dropped behind former group leader Randall the Handle into second place. The duo will go head-to-head on one of their five NFL picks in Week 13 of the SuperContest, as the Cleveland Browns visit the Houston Texans as 5.5-point road underdogs Sunday.

Anik is riding with the favored Texans – who have won eight straight games following an 0-3 start – while Randall is siding with the Browns. Cleveland is actually one of the team’s favorite picks in Week 13 overall, selected by six of the 22 members (27.5 percent) to tie for the fifth-most popular play. Houston was taken by three members.

Washington is Team OddsShark’s Top Pick in Week 13

Fading the defending Super Bowl champions the next season has been a popular handicapping angle over the years, and that is especially true in Week 13. The Philadelphia Eagles barely got by the New York Giants last Sunday in a 25-22 win over the New York Giants last Sunday, failing to cover the spread as 6-point home favorites. The Eagles are listed as 6.5-point home chalk in this week’s Monday Night Football game versus the Washington Redskins in a huge NFC East matchup for both teams.

Exactly half the team is supporting the Redskins in this spot despite backup quarterback Colt McCoy again starting under center for the injured Alex Smith. The 11 members backing Washington surprisingly do not include Anik or Randall. However, six of the next nine members in the group standings are taking the Redskins, including defending team champion Paulo Antunes. Philadelphia has failed to cover the spread in three straight games along with eight of 10, according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

Indy the Most Popular SuperContest Play Overall

Speaking of fading teams, the Jacksonville Jaguars have been downright awful this season after making it all the way to the AFC Championship Game last January. The Jaguars are hosting the Indianapolis Colts as 4-point home underdogs in Week 13, and the team’s poor performance has lasted the past two months.

Jacksonville has dropped seven games in a row during that stretch, going 0-5-2 against the spread since earning its last victory. Meanwhile, Indianapolis brings a five-game winning streak (3-1-1 ATS) into this AFC South matchup. Those opposite trends have contributed to a week-high 1,029 contestants picking the hot visitors over the cold hosts on Sunday. The Colts lead the Top 5 consensus picks for the first time this year.
