Some of the biggest Week 1 trends failed to pan out as the season opened, but there are plenty of interesting trend angles to explore in Week 2.
The Browns and Rams had been the worst Week 1 teams to bet on over the past decade, but both covered the spread in Week (although they lost to the Eagles and Lions respectively).
The Patriots trend toward September OVERs also crapped out as they won easily in Tennessee, but the game went UNDER 47 points.
In fact, most of the trends we identified a week ago failed to continue in Week 1.

This week, there are a handful of perfect trends, but will they still be perfect on Tuesday morning?
Of note, there has never been an OVER play in the Tampa vs New York Giants series (12 games dating to 1984). Many eyes are on the Raiders, who are a road favorite for the first time since 2005, but they have struggled mightily in the role.
And there are a pair of 100 per cent angles in the Titans vs Chargers game. Tennessee is 0-7 SU & ATS vs Chargers since 1998 and San Diego has played 10 straight home UNDERs as a favorite.
