Weekend NFL Preseason Odds Preview

The betting public landed solidly on the Patriots in the matchup, pushing the line all the way up to -8.5 at some sportsbooks. That’s about as high a line as you’ll see for an NFL pre-season game. This one was a solid win for the sportsbooks. In the second game, the Green Bay Packers rolled up 59 points (yes, that’s right, 59 points) on the Indianapolis Colts, who only managed 24. The betting action favored the home side, but it wasn’t lopsided, but it was a nice win for the betting public side when the Pack rolled up those points. Over bettors were smiling all night. Let’s look ahead to a few more pre-season matchups.

Saturday NFL Preseason Odds NY Giants at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens are currently a 4-point favorite for this tilt. Here we have two talented and highly touted pre-season teams facing off in Baltimore. Manning is ready to roll since suffering the head gash versus the Jets earlier this preseason. He will be without his starting C O’Hara though, which may cause some issues for the offense. The Ravens, who some have pegged as a Super Bowl contender, look to keep their undefeated preseason record in tact. Looking at the betting action, we see 63% of the betting public is backing the Ravens.

Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans

The battle of Texas showcases two high-powered offenses, replete with many weapons. The stars include Tony Romo, Austin Miles, Marion Barber and Jason Witten and for the Texans, they feature Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson. Defensive stops will not be easy in this potential shoot-out. Currently, 93% of the money is on Houston -3.

Sunday NFL Preseason Odds Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos

The Sunday night match-up has Pittsburgh taking its strong D and ball control offense on the road to Denver. First round pick, C Pouncey, saw the majority of the time with the first team this week, and look for him to get the start against Denver.

Who he will be snapping the ball to is still to be determined. Coach McDaniels has indicated that the Denver starters will play into the third quarter Sunday night. Currently 55% of the action is on the Broncos +2. You can check all the updated NFL Odds along with bonus offer, trends and more on every game.
