Western Conference leaders clash in a Black Friday showdown between the Winnipeg Jets and Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena. BET99 has set tonight's total at six goals with the OVER getting -105 odds, considering the OVER has hit in four of Winnipeg's last five games against the Knights I'll put my money on the OVER again tonight.

Interestingly, Vegas is a -105 home dog on the BET99 moneyline, despite winning 10 of its last 11 meetings against Winnipeg.

The Jets enter this contest having seen their offense slow down mightily from scoring 4.6 goals per game through their first 16 to only 2.4 goals per game in their last seven, some might say that's grounds for playing the UNDER tonight, but wait. Even with that slower offense, the total has floated around six goals in those last seven games (5.6 goals per game), so while we're seeing fewer than six goals in Jets games lately, that's barely the case. 

Vegas has also been flirting with the OVER going 3-3-1 in their last seven and seeing an average of 5.9 goals. Jack Eichel has been a crucial factor in those totals, the former second-overall pick has nine points in his last seven games, OVER 1.5 points for Eichel tonight is +160 at BET99.

With Winnipeg and Vegas barely keeping the UNDER alive in their recent games I think it important to consider that there's just something about Winnipeg-Vegas games that produces a lot of goals, in their last five meetings the total has gone OVER four times with an average of 6.2 goals. Mark Scheifele has been particularly productive in these meetings with five points in his last five against Vegas, OVER 0.5 points for Scheifele is -200 at BET99.

So while each team is hitting the UNDER (barely), I'll zig when the trends say to zag and take the OVER based on how these two teams like to flex their offensive muscles when they play.

With the total going OVER tonight, Eichel, who's had a say in five of the Knights' last 12 goals will have a big say in proceedings by scoring at least two points. 

Nino Niederreiter OVER 1.5 SOG: Nino has been averaging 2.1 shots per game this season, but his line is low thanks to only having six shots in his last six games. The belief in Nino going OVER rests with Vegas allowing an average of 32 shots per game in their last four, way up from their average of 28.9 on the season.

Ivan Barbashev O0.5 Points (+195) at BET99

Per Outlier, Ivan Barbashev has gone UNDER 0.5 assists in four of his last five games, again, I'm going zig when the trend says to zag by taking Barbie to net at least one helper tonight at a juicy +195 from BET99.

Barbashev has assists in four straight games for the Knights and has formed a nice partnership with Jack Eichel scoring 21 of his 24 5on5 points with Eichs (88%). The Odds Sharks staff and I believe Eichel will have a big game tonight taking him at OVER 1.5 points in our same-game parlay so doubling down on that by betting on Barbashev to get at least one helper while he's on a helper streak and attached to Eiche's hip only makes sense.
