The Sabres welcome the Jets to Buffalo desperate to atone for their recent 5-4 loss to Colorado where the Sabres let a 4-0 lead through the first 12 minutes of the game slip away. It was embarrassing and they need to answer tonight against a sloppy Jets team.

While Buffalo has lost its last four games, it's only lost by a single goal in three of those losses and its 51.93% xGF I referenced earlier proves Buffalo has been playing well despite the results not going its way. Dylan Cozens has been the most productive Sabres player in these losses with three points in four games, BET99 is giving +120 odds on OVER 0.5 points for the Workhorse from Whitehorse tonight.

The wheels have completely fallen off for the Jets, not only have they lost four straight but they've looked terrible in those losses, their red-hot shooting has come crashing back to earth with 1.5 goals per game in those four losses while Connor Hellebuyck has gone from a brick wall to Swiss cheese with 2.71 goals against average in his last three starts. Tage Thompson O3.5 SOG: Thompson has gone OVER 3.5 shots in his last four games averaging 5.25, but he's also gone O3.5 SOG in six of his last eight games averaging 4.88 shots on goal. Part of the Jets' demise is the number of shots they've allowed lately with an average of 34.3 per game, combine that fact with how often Tage is shooting lately and he should hit his shot prop.

Kyle Connor O0.5 Points: Connor has been quiet in this four-game slide only scoring two points. Tuch has points in three of his last five games and with how poorly Winnipeg has been defensively allowing 3.75 goals per game in their losing streak I like him to get on the board at least once tonight. Tuch has responded well for Buffalo after a loss scoring 12 points in 13 games, so expect the assistant captain to put the team on his back by scoring at least one point to make up for that bad loss to the Avalanche a few nights ago.
