Two players from a tiny town in Canada are the runaway favorites to win major NHL awards, according to odds posted on Friday.

Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, each from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, are the biggest favorites for the seven major season awards. Crosby is the prohibitive 1-100 favorite, according to Bovada, to win the Hart Trophy as league MVP, and MacKinnon is at 1-16 to win the Calder Trophy as the league's top rookie.

The other races are much closer, especially in Vezina Trophy odds where Boston’s Tuukka Rask is a slight favorite over Colorado’s Semyon Varlamov as the league’s best goalie (-115 to +140). Ben Bishop is the third option at +550.

The Norris Trophy odds are also close with Duncan Keith favored at -105 and Boston’s Zdeno Chara at +140 as the top betting choices according to Bovada.

Patrick Roy is favored to win the Jack Adams Trophy as league’s top coach. Roy led the Avalanche to a terrific season in his first year behind the bench and benefitted greatly from the performances of MacKinnon and Varlamov.
