Toronto is playing some great hockey of late, but the Maple Leafs will still be a road underdog when they take on the Flyers in Philadelphia in NHL betting action on Thursday night.

The Flyers won the only meeting between the teams so far this season, but that was before they lost some key components to their roster. Toronto has won three of their last four, while the Flyers have lost three straight and four of their last five.

History has been kind to the Flyers in this head-to-head rivalry, and that will see them as the majority choice on the NHL betting lines at 5Dimes with the Maple Leafs in town.

Three of the last four games between these teams have made winners of UNDER bettors in totals betting.

St. Louis has been of the best teams this year in the NHL, and they will face one of the hottest of late when they meet the Devils in New Jersey on Thursday in NHL betting action. New Jersey will be a likely home favorite for this game at the Prudential Center.

The Blues have lost three of their last five, but trail league-leading Detroit by just three points in the NHL standings and hold two games in hand. The Devils have won five straight and have gone a solid 7-2-1 over the past 10 games.

San Jose has been tough to beat at home this season and they will be a likely home favorite at 5Dimes when the reeling Chicago Blackhawks come to town in NHL betting action on Friday night.

The Blackhawks were once on top of the league, but a 3-5-2 run over their past 10 games has plummeted them to sixth in the Western Conference. Chicago has won back-to-back games against the Sharks, but both were held in the Windy City. In the only contest in San Jose this season the Sharks prevailed 1-0.

San Jose is arguably playing the better hockey of the two teams and should see most of the attention from bettors on the NHL betting lines.
