Michel's SGP Leg 1: UNDER 6 Goals

Since April, Dallas is 10-4 (71%) against the UNDER on home ice. When at home against the Oilers this year the UNDER is 3-0-1 (75%). After allowing four or more goals, Jake Oettinger follows up in the next game (when played at home) with a solid 0.911SV% and 2.54GAA.

Look the theme of the series is OVER in Edmonton (2-0) and UNDER in Dallas (also, 2-0). I don't write the rules I just spot them and follow them.

Michel's SGP Leg 2: Both Teams To Score P1 (No)

In Dalla's last 12 playoff games, one (or both) teams have gone scoreless in the opening frame 10 times (83%). For Edmonton, it's happened three times in their last five games (60%)

After both teams combined for four goals in the opening 20 in Game 4, you know both coaches are yelling at their players to tighten up at the start of the game. We'll see a calmer first in Game 5, no doubt.

Michel's SGP Leg 3: Leon Draisaitl Anytime Goal

On our daily Odds Shark live show for Game 4, it was mentioned that Draisaitl was due for a goal. And sure enough, the German delivered with the Oilers' fourth goal.

Like any good goalscorer, Draisaitl scores in bunches. After a three-game goalless streak in March, Drai answered with six goals in seven games including a five-game goal streak.

Josie's SGP Leg 1: Jake Oettinger OVER 27.5 Saves

I touched on this trend in our expert picks page but now I’m using the stat in the player prop department. Following a loss, the Oettinger is recording an average .942SV% in the playoffs, never have a bad performance twice.

Since the start of the second round, when coming off a loss, the 25-year-old has recorded 28 saves or more on all three occasions. With the Oilers not sending fewer than 28 shots in Oettingers direction this series and the net minders ability to shake off a loss, I expect plenty of pucks snapped and plenty to be stopped.

Josie's SGP Leg 2: Jason Robertson UNDER 2.5 Shots

I don’t know what it is about Robertson and American Airlines Center this postseason, but the two are mixing well. Of the nine playoff games at home, the 24-year-old have pocketed OVER 2.5 shots just twice — but both instances being in Round 1 against Vegas. Meanwhile, he’s cruised through the OVER on this line in six of his eight road appearances. He must get stage fright in front of Stars fans.

Josie's SGP Leg 3: Goal In The First 10 Minutes — YES

Aside from the series opener, there has been a goal within the first four minutes in the last three matchups. Last game, Wyatt Johnston opened the scoring before the minute-mark, only to have three other goals follow before the first period clock expired.

If you look at all playoff meetings held in Dallas, six of the eight meetings had goals before the 10-minute mark. Notably, the two exceptions had pucks hit the back of the net just a minute past that mark.
