NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 1: OVER 6 Goals

We saw the OVER hit for the first time in this series in Game 3 and I suspect we'll see it hit again. And a big reason for that is Stuart Skinner. He's not great at bouncing back from a poor outing. This year, after allowing four or more goals, Skins allowed another 3 or more goals in the next games 60%!

And now Jason Robertson is off the schneid with a hatty in game 3. The strength of Dallas's game is getting goals from a number of sources but Robo was goalless in his last 10 games. Getting him scoring again adds a very dangerous element to Dallas's game. In the 11 playoff games that Robo has scored, Dallas has hit the OVER four times.

NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 2: OVER 1.5 Goals P1

In 27 playoff games between 2023 and 2024 for Edmonton, the first period OVER has hit a ridiculous 22 times (82%). Just in these playoffs, the trend is 11 for 15 (73%).

We've seen the P1 OVER hit in two straight games in this series. Through the first three games, Dallas and Edmonton have tossed 43 shots in net and scored four goals in the first period. That's a sad 0.907SV% in the first frame.

NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 3: Oilers Score First

No team has scored the first goal more often in these playoffs than the Oilers with 12 times. With 15 games played, they scored the first goal 80% of the time in the postseason.

When on home ice, they've scored the first goal six times (tied for the most in the playoffs). But doing so in only seven games gives them the best efficiency at 86%.

NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 1: Zach Hyman UNDER 3.5 Shots (-110)

When coming off a loss, Hyman has recorded OVER 3.5 shots on four of five occasions this postseason. Though he’s recorded 37 shots at home in the playoffs, 24 (64.8%) of those have come on the first-leg of back-to-back hostings at Rogers Arena. In fact, the 31-year-old has yet to snap OVER 3.5 shots in the second-consecutive meeting in Edmonton during a series.

NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 2: Stuart Skinner UNDER 23.5 Saves (-110)

Of the four starting goaltenders remaining, Skinner has faced thew fewest shots (277) by at least 50 shots. I don’t think Edmonton wants him to see a lot of shots, considering even though he’s faced the least, he carries the worst save percentage (.885SV%) among the netminders, too. Seven of his last nine appearances haven’t even hit the 20-save mark. Sorry Skinner, I don’t trust you.

NHL Same Game Parlay Leg 3: Roope Hintz Anytime Goalscorer (+230)

Jason Robertson earned his hattrick last matchup, now it’s time to share the spotlight. I’m all over Hintz tonight, who I also wagered on in our player props. After returning from injury, the 27-year-old picked up two primary assists. Sitting on the first line, there’s plenty of opportunity to hit the back of the net against Skinner, who we’ve already established isn’t tough to beat.
