Blues get a visit from underdog Stars

The St. Louis Blues have managed to pick up the victory in seven of their last 10 games against the Dallas Stars as those teams meet in NHL betting action on Saturday night.

However, the Blues fell 3-2 at home to the Stars as a -200 favorite on the NHL odds when the teams last met back on March 11 in an UNDER result.

The OVER has only paid off once in the last five games between the Western Conference teams.

The Blues currently sport a record of 50-16-7. The Stars are 34-27-11. Betting totals have seen the Blues post a 32-33-8 OVER/UNDER record this season, while the Stars have gone 37-31-5 against the number.

The Stars were listed as 200 underdogs on the hockey moneyline earlier at Sportsbook. The total was set at 5.5 before betting started earlier on Saturday at Sportsbook.

It's a hockey betting matchup between the No. 17-rated Blues and the No. 4-ranked Stars, according to the latest NHL power poll here at Odds Shark.

Dallas won its last outing, a 7-3 result against the Predators on March 28. Bettors who backed the Stars at -170 on the moneyline won on the day, and the total score (10) sent OVER bettors to the payout window.

The Blues were a 5-1 Sportsbook in their most recent outing at home against the Wild. That made Sportsbooks of bettors who got St. Louis at -193 on the moneyline, while the total score (6) was good news for OVER bettors.
